★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's so much to try here. I bought a shark tooth from here. If you get in make sure it is hanging from a metallic loop and not glued on to a wooded piece. I showered and it fell off.

Perfect for multiple souvenir shopping, prices are by far lower than on the "costera" and other nicer hotel areas. This zone, yet, is perfect for local travelers and young people searching for fun at the best rates without the flash of the great hotels there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anything and everything you can find here in the mercado central. Some areas are dirty and other areas are smelly (fish)! Don't wear any jewelry there and keep track of your wallet at all times ( better safe than sorry). Very colorful and cheap clothes, sandals and fruits and vegetables of the season can be found here. Enjoy ?
