★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are tons of locales to buy artesanía and árboles de vida BUT the locals aren't open most of days. I went there on a Wednesday at 11am and there were only 4 locales open :/ so I didn't have many options to find what I was looking for regarding price /product
Very disappointed. The market itself it's very beautiful and colorful, totally worth it to take a walk and take photos

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing little plaza to find some talented masters and artisans. I suggest you check the Azrael Castillo shop as well as the Soteno galleries. Amazing work within budgets and even cheaper than you would find in other parts of Mexico. During the weekdays it's hit or miss with around 40-60% of the shops closed. I didn't get to go on weekends both times but had a great selection of goods available including ceramics, palm art, and huichol. Also they have a banging food court - try the buche pork tacos, delicious!
