★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool market to visit in the middle of the city and stop for a taco. You can buy fresh fruits and much more. There is everything you need to do groceries if you want from fruits and vegetables to cleaning products to flowers to meat and poultry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best and most extensive traditional market we’ve seen yet in Mexico City. This is a market not to be missed if you’re anywhere NEAR the center of the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live in Mexico City; that is, I am not a tourist. I used to try to shop here to support the local economy but enough is enough. This market is a TOTAL RIPOFF. Don't go if you're American, even if you speak fluent Spanish, which I do. You'll be quoted prices that are four times higher than the norm, or the vendors will even quote you the correct price but then charge you quadruple in the end. I hope that management will, at some point, crack down on dishonest vendors because they're ruining a possibly-lovely market. And in case they read this: FÍJENSE QUE SU MERCADO ES UNA VERGUENZA, los vendedores son una bola de ladrones que solo buscan engañar y robar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Also known as Mercado Medellín, it is a large roof above hundreds of small stalls selling products from other Latin American countries including Mexico. It seems most of the products here are from Colombia though, you can get groceries, soda, chips, even candies from various countries in South America. The selection is impressive, and I would recommend this place if you are into that. There's also parking for a small cost if you're driving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mercado Medellin is a mini version of Mercado de Jamaica with a twist, as it offers a variety of Colombian and Venezuelan foods and meals.
The market is super clean, has parking (although limited), shop owners are friendly and willing to tell you more about the food specialties that they sell.
Handicap friendly and easy to reach both by car and public transportation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to this market twice. We bought the most beautiful sunflowers I’ve ever seen and put them in our hotel room to enjoy all week. We also got fresh “vampira” juice (bright-red, delicious juice with beets and fruit), and passion fruits and nuts to eat in our hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went shopping here. All the store owners are very forthcoming and helpful. I like the food. It tastes better than the super market and they have things you cannot get at supermarkets either. Real Mexican fruits, meat/sausage, flowers. It's all there and alot. Coming again <3
