Al llegar me preguntaron dos veces si necesitaba ayuda, a lo que respondí que sí, pero que me esperaran, para seguir viendo. Después de un rato de mirar, por fin le pregunté a la señora del mostrador, quien me miró, volteó los ojos y me dio una respuesta condescendiente. Mi obvio desconocimiento del tema me hizo hacer una pregunta igual de obvia, pero en ningún momento la hice de mala forma. Luego de ese incidente, me continuó enseñando de un modo que no me pareció, se lo hice saber y tampoco le gustó.
Espero que la siguiente persona que llegue a su local la trate igual de bien como los que calificaron con 5 estrellas; en mi caso, no fue así. Que mal que un lugar que tanto me habían recomendado, por su antigüedad, servicio y materiales, me haya tratado de esa forma. Si llego a requerir algo que solo ellos tengan, tendré que ir esperando no recibir los mismos gestos y con preguntas que la dependienta quiera responder sin hacer sentir ignorante al cliente :(

My obvious ignorance of the subject made me ask an equally obvious question, but at no time did I ask it in a bad way. After that incident, he continued teaching me in a way that I didn't think, I let him know and he didn't like it either.
I hope that the next person who arrives at your store will treat you as well as those who rated 5 stars; In my case, it wasn't like that. Too bad that a place that had been so recommended to me, because of its age, service and materials, has treated me that way. If I get to require something that only they have, I will have to wait hoping not to receive the same gestures and with questions that the saleswoman wants to answer without making the client feel ignorant :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fui confiando en las recomendaciones que leí aquí y quedé francamente muy decepcionada:
1) apenas le pregunté a la señora por un producto y me contestó como agobiada de que le preguntaran por ese producto. (Es obvio que es algo muy cotizado y ella no lo tiene y ya estaba harta de que le pteguntaran) así que sin tener la culpa, de inicio me llevé una carota.
2) no tiene surtido en cosas de tejido y crochet. Apenas tiene las marcas Omega y el gato, pero muy pocos colores. Esperaba llevarme por lo menos unas 8 madejas de diferentes colores pero solo tenía 3 madejas en total (solo 2 colores).
3) con todo respeto, se ve que la tienda tiene muuuuchos años, y me da gusto que un negocio pequeño sea próspero, pero no se actualizan. Le pregunté por un artículo y le mostré muchas fotos de Pinterest , algo que en otras tiendas encuentras sin problema, y ellas -porque son 2 señoras- no tenían ni idea de lo que les hablaba.
Mi impresión es que llevan vendiendo lo mismo por décadas. Si buscas cosas muy básicas, los ganchillos de aluminio de toda la vida, los estambres el gato de siempre, y cosas así, entonces sí está bien ir. Pero si buscas nuevos hilos o estambres para proyectos más modernos, nuevos tipos de ganchillos, asas para bolsas de moda, distintos ojitos y colores de hilazas para amigurumis, etc. esta tienda no es para ti.
I was relying on the recommendations that I read here and I was frankly very disappointed:
1) I just asked the lady about a product and she answered me as overwhelmed to be asked about that product. (It is obvious that it is something highly valued and she does not have it and she was already tired of being asked) so without being to blame, at the beginning I took a face.
2) It does not have an assortment in knitting and crochet things. It hardly has the Omega and the cat markings, but very few colors. I was hoping to take at least 8 skeins of different colors but I only had 3 skeins in total (only 2 colors).
3) With all due respect, you can see that the store is very, very old, and I am glad that a small business is prosperous, but they are not updated. I asked her about an article and I showed her many photos from Pinterest, something that you can find in other stores without a problem, and they - because they are 2 ladies - had no idea what I was talking about.
My impression is that they have been selling the same thing for decades. If you are looking for very basic things, the old aluminum crochet hooks, the usual cat yarns, and things like that, then it is good to go. But if you are looking for new threads or yarns for more modern projects, new types of crochets, handles for fashion bags, different eyes and colors of yarns for amigurumis, etc. this store is not for you.
