★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a good "merendero" for trying some local home-made food, it has a tradition and it's located very near of the Coyoacan main plaza just besides one of the most beautiful streets in the city (Francisco Sosa)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Las Lupitas last week. The only drawback was that the ONE waiter was running around and service was obviously slow. The food is great: machaca (dried, pulled beef) with eggs, wrapped in fresh warm flour tortillas. Cheese chivichangas, with the cheese all melty overflowing the tortilla. But what's truly a great accompaniment to the food is the ambience, the feeling that you're eating at someone's old Mexican kitchen 100 years ago. Having one more waiter would make this place a real jewel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a must-do if you're in the neighborhood and you would like to enjoy a traditional Mexican breakfast. Their staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and their cinnamon atole (a sweetened, warm milky drink) is to die for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved the entire place and the way it was done. Since we have now tried Mexican food all over the city I'm going to say that the food here was not bad
Wasn't excellent but it was not bad. But the place is well located and has a great ambience. If you want a quiet place to relax with your family or a date it's a good idea to get here. It's not too expensive too.
