I have been on a few tours but this was by far the best tour experience I’ve had. This company is thorough and informative from beginning to end. Ricardo was informed and deeply passionate about the local history. I was amazed by the beauty of the cenotes and already considering coming back just to see more. Simply put, I had a damn good adventure I’ll never forget.

I travel quite a bit and usually explore on my own - this was my first trip to Merida and I came across, and contacted, Merida Gay Tours after my arrival - thought I'd try something new. Ricardo got back to me right away and was amazing throughout - not only was he able to include me on a tour to Chichen Itza and Izamal the very next day, but took great care of me for the next two - a relaxing and fun trip to the beach in Sisal and a full day at the superb site of Uxmal and the nearby, and magical, cenotes. He took care of everything with a smile, was extremely organized, on time, flexible with regards to our needs and likings - zero stress, so easy, and I felt like I was travelling with a friend I could be myself with the entire time. Great transportation. as well. Would definitely do this again, either in Merida or the other locations and experiences offered - highly recommended I learned a lot and laughed a lot - and isn't that what traveling is all about??
