D	Daniel O on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Merida Grill is always a must visit for me when I am in Puerto Vallarta. It is somewhat off the beaten path (hidden), but it is one of my favorite finds in PV. The service is always fantastic, the atmosphere is very cool and unique, and the food is amazing. My personal favorite is the Red Enchiladas. They are always extremely fresh, delicious and perfectly filling. Definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting PV.

Consistency is difficult to find in Mexico but Merida Grill is one of the few places that has been consistently delicious with great service. The manger helped us with selecting our meals and the salad was THE BEST I think I’ve ever had in Mexico. I forget the name, but the one with pumpkin seeds and honey vinaigrette. Amazing salad and guacamole. I was (again) impressed but everything. We also got the catch of the day and the lime soup, it’s sweet but super unique and interesting flavor, you will leave FULL and satisfied! The only thing, I REALLY wish they didn’t use styrofoam. With more ecological options, there’s no reason for styrofoam.

George, the manager, made us feel at home; he was very opinionated and assertive about what to order for the group - and his suggestions were spot on. For example, we ordered several appetizers but he thought it would be too much food and removed one that he thought was least worth it so we'd have room for dessert. Our favorites: duck tacos, stuffed cheese, empanadas, guacamole, churros, and margarita. The decor was also really cool - there are two giant trees inside the building.

Even the salsa was personalized with the level of spiciness you like, and the server "make" the salsa right in front of you! I just love the jocoque because I never had this in the states! Also bf ordered pork and it even came with fried critters on the side so that was definitely comes with a bit of a fun surprise and of course I have to try that too! ?

Very attentive staff and well managed. There is live music starting at about 8. The ambiance is lovely. Really one of the nicest restaurants we have visited in Mexico.
