My husband and I had been sight seeing all day, so we weren’t as dressed up as could be, but we weren’t dressed poorly either. Ismael was a complete jerk and was just going through the motions. Not once did he even crack a smile. There were YouTube videos playing and sound checks going on for some mediocre karaoke, not at all the ambience one would want when expecting to have a nice dining experience in Mexico City. I had planned on eating, having several drinks, and even a dessert, but this experience made us want to leave as soon as possible.When we asked for our check we had barely eaten our flavorless steak and weren’t even asked if we would like a box to go. Spend your money somewhere else, this place is not worth the pretentiousness it serves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic eats! The attention to detail, cleanliness and overall friendly and attentive staff. Ismail our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu. Great wine and spirits menu and right off reforma. Our maitre'd Arturo had plenty of places where to visit and was very attentive to our needs, mesón gaucho is a must stop when visiting Mexico city.
