In Mesón Hidalgo it means immersing yourself, truly, in an atmosphere of another time. Definitely, this is the best place to feel that you are living San Miguel de Allende one hundred percent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the absolute most incredible staying at Meson Hidalgo. After visiting San Miguel de Allende for the first time, I was welcomed with open arms by the incredible host Laura Kirar, an internationally renowned interior and product designer. On my first day I took a perfume workshop at one of the regular venders at Meson called Xinu. I met some new friends in the group as well as a custom scent. The aesthetic of the complex are just gorgeous and a pleasure to wake up to. The guest room I had, Chana was luxuriously grand and the beds + pillows were the perfect thing to come back to after a nice day of local shops and bars. The location is pretty great as it is very central and a block away to the main plaza called Parroquia De San Miguel Arcangel. At night it is just breath taking and filled with local festivities and night life! Thank you Meson and I cant wait to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to stay and amazing luxury brand stores in house: Laura Kirar, Carla Fernández, Xinú Perfumes and Armour jewelry. The best spot in San Miguel de Allende! All rooms are designed by Laura Kirar, internationally known interior designer: Chana, Juana & Su Hermana. All the spaces inside the historic building with a great vibe and beautiful people. Just a few steps from the main Parroquia, I highly recommend for a romantic getaway or a incredible weekend with friends. Día de Muertos or La Calaca in November is a great time to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I both work as designers so we were so pleased to stay in the guest house of Laura Kirar. She has impeccable taste and every imaginable detail was thought of. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the location was perfect. I even took a relaxing hot bath in our room's tub. Meson Hidalgo is the perfect place to stay for design and comfort minded people in San Miguel.
