My stay here was a great experience: the decor is nice, with a traditional touch, the breakfast is very good and the staff is friendly and willing to help with anything. The location is good, you can find shops and restaurants at a few minutes distance, also there is a big supermarket nearby. They can offer you bikes, if available. We had a spacious room for 3 people, it was nice and clean, with comfy beds, functional AC, fridge, but I would have liked an extra blanket. At breakfast we had good coffee, orange juice, fruit plates and one type of meal - I’ve tried many of them but my favorite was “Huevos rancheros”.

Good place to stay! Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are nice and chic! Toiletries are good quality! Our only problem was Wi-Fi because we were working and it’s satellite Wi-Fi!

Wonderful staff, the rooms were great. Love all the amenities they provided such as free bikes, breakfast, ac, and fridge. The location was convenient to a large supermarket, banks, stores and many restaurants

More like 4.5 stars. Pros. Very nice and attentive staff. Very clean rooms. Great breakfast off the menu. Convenient location to visit nearby attractions. The price was very reasonable for what you get. Grocery store right across the street. Short walk to downtown night life. Safe parking. A/C gets nice and cold. Cons. There can be street noise depending on the room and the night. Great spot if you are traveling on a budget.

What we did not like about this property is first of all that they close the hotel at 10:00PM and when we arrived after this time as a family with a reservation confirmed by expedia we found the hotel closed with a chain around the door and padlocked. A cleaning person who was working in the courtyard of the hotel would not let us in even if we had our reservation and showed it to him and even then he hardly paid attention to us. After a dialogue where we were able to have the attention of the cleaning person or guard, he agreed to communicate by phone with a contact of the hotel possibly his supervisor and from two rooms that we had reserved, they gave us access to only one room and it was where we finally agreed to be given that room so we would not be left in the middle of the night without a hotel in that dark place. The next day we did not find the manager or supervisor of the hotel, only a hotel representative. I explained to him that I was requesting at least a return of my money for the extra room we paid for, what happened is that this representative made some calls and agreed to return the money through expedia which to this date expedia denied the refund just because the hotel do not answer the calls. Expedia sent me an email letting me know that they are not responsible and that they abide by the hotel rules that there would be no return of money once the reservation was made. If it helps, my recommendation is to avoid any dealings with this type of hotels.

Nice affordable hostel, close to everything in Tulum. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a room for three on the 3rd floor. The room had enough space, one bathroom and one sink. They gave us enough towels. And the AC and fan were working just fine. They offer free breakfast which is either eggs or pan cakes with a fruit salad. The wifi was the only bad thing at the hostel. It wasn’t working for a couple of days during our stay. Make sure you bring insect spray.
