★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just ate late lunch here. Ordered the ribs with orange sauce…they were fall off bone tender and mixed veggies were great. Delicious with a glass of Chardonnay. Partner had the tuna medallion with pure de papas. Again delish, ordered a bit too rare but they gladly cooked a bit more. Great chef.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place. It’s a pity I found it on my last stay in Guanajuato. The food is delicious and the lemon mousse was just wow! Very attentive personnel and the interior is another thing to mention - design is the mix of Mexican with modernity. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location in the center of Guanajuato. Quiet restaurant if you want more of a calm ambiance. Good was good, not excellent. My steak was cooked very well but the sauce it was in was a little too overpowering for my taste. The drinks and out octopus appetizer were very good though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to Mestizo four years ago, and again today. It is exactly how I remember it. Everything we had was amazing! I highly recommend the mole blanco, pulpo a la parrillada and crema de poblano.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall, highly recommend. We orders the tostadas, Bone marrow tacos, tomato salad with queso frsco, chicken mole, and pork ribs. All very fresh and very fair prices for the quality of food. Would return when back in Guanajuato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is amazing. The seafood is very fresh. All the dishes have a very distinct flavor which is not your usual run of the mill flavors. The pork chop with mole Blanco is very special with white chocolate, guava,calabasas in the sauce. Truly amazing. We enjoy lunch so much, we went back the next day for breakfast. All their breads and pastires are also handmade. The fruits, juices and yoghurt are fresh and refreshing. The proces are very economical for the quality of food they are serving. A must try for anyone visiting Gjuanajuato. So far this is my most favorite restaurant here.
