Mex Rent a Car - 44648 Guadalajara

Mal servicio y mala atencion al cliente. Tardaron 15 dias en responderme un correo y respondieron cuando ya no necesitaba su ayuda. En la pagina dice que el precio pagado incluye todo, incluso cobertura total y cuando llegas te dicen que necesitas pagar 3500 pesos mas para la cobertura "al 100%". Intentas razonar con ellos pero solo alzan los hombros y te repiten la misma perorata una y otra vez. Estas en estado de indefension con estos tipos.

Muy mal servicio por parte de Miguel Angel Diaz y Oswaldo Birueta. No me rentaron el vehículo argumentando que mis documentos son recientes (INE y Licencia). Al mostrar la documentación me comentan que lo tienen que revisar y deciden negarme la renta. Les pido me enseñen la política de la compañía donde mencionan eso, a lo que comentan que la política que tienen impresa en el establecimiento ya no es la buena. Mi molestia es por pérdida de tiempo, tuve que buscar nuevamente donde rentar y mejor a la segura con mis amigos de AVIS. La verdad quería explorar nuevas opciones locales, pero ya me quedó claro que Mex Rent a Car no lo es. Les recomiendo usen otras opciones aunque sean ligeramente más elevadas y no renten con ellos. Alamo o Hertz de repente tienen buenas ofertas.

Miguel in Guadalajara got me a car right away at a better rate than the others. Would definitely use again.

Worst experience ever. Do NOT try to book a car through this company. Reserved one for 9am, the person who was supposed to be there and open the store, never showed up. Called up their main number, someone else showed up 20 min later to drive me to another location and do the rental there. Tried to charge me a $10,000 deposit which was never disclosed on the contract or during the booking process. When I disputed this, I was told it was the customer's responsibility to look through the entire website and find all their terms in their Q&A. When I cancelled and asked to be driven back to where I was picked up, I was told to get out and take a cab. Edit: En respuesta a Mex: no es necesario el número de contrato ya que no se llevó a cabo renta alguna. El incidente sucedió el 16 de Julio. Me hubiera gustado haber tomado el nombre de la srta en la sucursal López Mateos, una persona de lo más grosera. Una vez más, su reservacion no dice en ningún lado que cargarán un depósito 6 veces mayor al valor de la renta. Gracias por arruinar el día planeado.

I was there yesterday; unfortunately, Daniel was on vacation, and old Miguel from Av. Americas was his replacement. As is customary with this guy, he gave me a car that was dirty. In addition, they had messed up my reservation, and consequently had me wait for an hour. Clearly, wherever this guy goes, unprofessionalism follows him.

Cars were good condition but they insist on calculating prices in USD first then converting to pesos at unfavorable rate before charging you in pesos. The rate was 20% more than bank rates of the day. So you end up paying more
