Mex Rent a Car - 66600 Cd Apodaca

Didn't have my car, tried to upcharge me. Didn't offer a comparable car, so I didn't even get a rental. Shuttle didn't pick me up so I ended up walking back and forth from the airport. Really are the worst. Stick with Avis or Hertz so you can pick up at the door.

So, I have rented here several times in 2017. The man at the front desk speaks good english and is very friendly. I never had a problem with being charged more or having insurance or upgrades pushed upon me. They have been true to their word. They do require a 10,000 peso deposit for the rental which is higher than the normal $250 that you would find in the USA. As far as issues when returning, I didn't have any. One time they were closed early morning and I just left the car in the front with the keys under the seat. No problems there. One time there was something wrong mechanically with the car when i returned it. I can't remember what exactly, but I didn't notice it when I rented. However, they did not charge me extra and understood that I didn't do anything to the car. Overall, great rental experience here as compared to other places in Monterrey. Best prices as well. For this reason, I'll be renting again in a few days.One thing to note, during busy times, you may have to wait 20-30 minutes. But that is true at any rental agency.

Nunca renten con estos pillos! NO respetan las reservaciones y al final quieren aumentar el precio! Do yourself a favor and do NOT rent anything with these thieves! They will charge you more money than was agreed and they will not respect your reservation. Save your vacations, do not rent anything with this “company”

Everything about this was bad. SLOW!!!! Waited fooooorever to pick up the car, waited foooooorever for the shuttle 0/5 !!

Biggest scam rental car agency. You rent online and they quote a good price then you get to the office and you are REQUIRED to get insurance that doubles the price of the rental. Stay Away!!!!

Super helpful, spoke English to avoid my terrible Spanish. Had the car I reserved. In and out in ten minutes. Would rent from here again.

Upon arrival the welcome was good, but during time of making the contract the agent was taking calls from other people that wanted information about the rentals, which delayed the completion of my contract, there was a lot of distraction (It would be good to have a person dedicated to just giving rental information and answering questions on the phone). I also had to pay more for the car insurance that supposed to be included but they recommend you other insurance that is going to cover everything whatever issue you might have with the car, Which I accepted, since what else could I do? since you are in Mexico and many things can happen during your stay, Just to cover myself I accepted that other insurance and I also had to put a deposit for other unexpected expenses ( So they told me ) After about 3 days of this rent I had to call them to change the car because I heard strange metal noises and it vibrated, I didn't want to risk it and Yes, they brought me another car,( Thank God I paid for the extra insurance ) they sent somebody to the city I was staying which was about 1 hour and a half away from the rental place and they didn't give me any trouble, so that was good. This other car didn't give me trouble.. I returned it with a full tank.. But the first one that they exchanged I return it with 3/4 of a tank full so at the end of the contract they charged me 44.00 pesos per litter and they charged me around 750.00 pesos for the gas to fill 1/4 of tank, which they charge double of what the gas actually cost in the other gas stations outside the airport. At the end of the day you are going to end paying about double of what the quoted you online, keep that in mind. And I'm giving 3 stars just because they brought the other car to me to that other city where I was staying when I needed it. The cars also have a lot of scratches and paint chipped seem to be very well used.

Terrible experience. I booked a car with 6 days in advance. I'm a local, so in order to pick up the unit, I had to take a taxi all the way to the airport (ended up being like $25 dlls). Upon arrival, I was informed the unit was not available. According to the guy at front desk, even if you book a car, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE the car will be available. What the heck? The worst thing is that if they knew the car was not available, they could have called me and I could have avoided the hassle to take a taxi and go all the way to the airport.
