★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reservation are extremely nice and helping, until for some reason you had to cancel your reservation.
I made reservation two months ahead, was asked to pay first night, which I did. But then I had to cancel my reservation. From that moment NOBODY ANSWERED MY MAILS ANY MORE. I felt like I was robed by the hotel. They just got the money and disappeared.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place beautiful staff. Loved how small the hotel was and how delicious breakfast was included. It was not continental breakfast it was actually an entire menu with over 30 dishes which u can see in the pictures. The staff was amazing and very attentive and polite. When staying in Mexico City this might be my secret gem every time. Walking distance to restaurant beautiful parks and the neighborhood itself is very safe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Mexsuites Casa Azul B&B was a charming and comfortable place to stay, and made all the better by its host, Mauricio. The property is full of thoughtful details, from the rooms named after famous painters to the gorgeous hand-carved wooden entrance doors. The common spaces are elegant and kept immaculately clean by the friendly staff. Our room was unexpectedly upgraded at no charge, and the owner Mauricio went out of his way to make sure we were able to meet all our sightseeing goals. Since our Spanish was limited, he even negotiated with a taxi driver to take us to Xochimilco, and thoughtfully recommended we see the Dolores Olmedo museum after, which was an excellent suggestion. Mauricio is such a gracious and interesting person, and we greatly enjoyed his company and his excellent hospitality. I would love to visit Mexico City again, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
