★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found Mexi Boutique by accident while exploring the streets of Merida.
This little shop is hip and full of cool local products. Also perfect if you are looking for a unique gift or two. The coffee is the best we have had in Merida so far. Jaime, the owner is clearly passionate to showcase locally sourced products and treasures It is wonderful to meet a young entrepreneur with such enthusiasm. We will be back for more coffee and perhaps to try the food or chocolate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super slow service. Only one person working the front desk and kitchen. I entered the restaurant when only two other people were in the restaurant. I ordered an Acai bowl. The man working there did not even have the decency to tell me that the bowl would take more than 20 minutes or to continually check in with me and let me know my order would be started soon/almost finished. I didn't expect an açaí bowl to take more than 20 mins. I walked out. Luckily I didn't hadn't swiped my card yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute little place. Very nice young lady and very courteous. Cappuccino didn’t have foam but it was very good. It was more like a Spanish Cafe Con Leche…tasted very good, nice and strong. Crème filled croissant was also very flavorful. I would definitely return for my evening coffee. I have tried other coffee shops in the area and this was definitely the best tasting one and great prices also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a cappuccino here. Milk was overheated served with no foam whatsoever. If you don't know how to properly make a cappuccino, you certainly should not be charging people for it. Won't return.
