★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se hizo la reserva, la condición que me pidieron para poder dejar el depósito en garantía con tarjeta de débito era que el carro tuviera seguro de cobertura amplia y me subieron el precio por día para incluirlo al igual que el monto de la garantía. Pedí específicamente un vehículo automático con aire acondicionado y me lo confirmaron, me pidieron un depósito para la reservación y realicé el pago de inmediato en su plataforma.
Al llegar con la agencia local de Mérida, me quisieron cobrar 3 mil pesos adicionales por el seguro de cobertura amplia, otra vez! Me negué y les dije que el costo ya lo incluía debido a que había sido una condicionante para rentar el vehículo con tarjeta de débito. A regañadientes me respetaron el precio, pero me cambiaron el vehículo y me entregaron un carro estándar, sucio y con menos de 1/8 de gasolina.
Me parece que no hay buena comunicación entre el intermediario y las agencias locales. Los que terminamos pagando los platos sucios somos los usuarios.
 The reservation was made, the condition that they asked me to be able to leave the guarantee deposit with a debit card was that the car had broad coverage insurance and they raised the price per day to include it as well as the amount of the guarantee. I specifically asked for an automatic vehicle with air conditioning and they confirmed it for me, they asked me for a deposit for the reservation and I made the payment immediately on their platform.
When I arrived with the local agency in Mérida, they wanted to charge me an additional 3,000 pesos for the comprehensive coverage insurance, again! I refused and told them that the cost already included it because it had been a condition for renting the vehicle with a debit card. Reluctantly they respected the price, but they changed my vehicle and gave me a standard car, dirty and with less than 1/8 of gasoline.
It seems to me that there is not good communication between the intermediary and the local agencies. Those of us who end up paying for the dirty dishes are the users.

Rented a car ONLINE, then when trying to confirm I was told the car was still occupied by another renter. I was never paid back for the deposit.
I don't know if it's incompetence or a total scam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The local agency was not able to provide the category of the car that was reserved. I have to pay more than expected to get a car in a higher category, the price was even higher than booking directly with mexico car rental.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be carefeul when you reserve they say assurance is included but it is not it , it is only the basic assurance that is included, that covers others but not the car so if you have a scratch or anything on the car , they will take from the deposit you are going to make of 11000 mex pesos or from your credit card .
You are going to need to wash the car aswell before tou return it , other ways they will add an extra 1000 mex pesos if the car is not in the same condition .
So basically if you want the full coverage it will cost you more than twice than the price advertised.
My experience was good with them but since i was not covered during my stay it was a bit stressing. I took the risk and yes it was cheap. They also Updated my car so it was nice .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made my reservation for a car online via kayak. When I went to pick the car the Mexico car rental agency in Tulum refused the insurance coverage that I bought from them
through Kayak / QEEQ and asked me to buy their in-house insurance coverage for an additional $50 USD / per day meaning that total cost compact car rental per day climbed to USD $100.00 per day double the initial cost ! I asked the agency to cancel my reservation and reimburse me the $500.00 USD already paid but they refused. These people are thiefs. Never to be trusted. I crossed the street and rented a car from America car rental and was very glad with their rates and quality service
