Great decoration, delicious traditional Mexican food, fast service and cozy environment. Great for either locals or foreign visitors.

Bad Services. Waiters blame the cook on their actions

Que puedo decir. Es Lindo y Sabroso. The only thing I didn't care for that the Marfil location is that they don't have Victoria beer like they do at the one near La Presa. The morphe location has those horrible Dos Equis products which I will not drink. However they do have vodka and soda so I survived. The food in both locations is excellent and the service top notch. The Marfil location is in a beautiful open and airy building in a park-like setting with a little creek, that turns into a river sometimes, running alongside of it. I know it turns into a river sometimes because one can actually see people's clothing up in the trees at the high water level when the creek was running high ... I suppose during the rainy season. It's close enough to my house to walk to but, it does have a secure parking lot. There isn't much space though, you could probably get maybe eight small cars and five big ones like my Grand Cherokee in there. Take a taxi, the taxis here are cheap and then you can drink and not worry about driving.

I was already a fan of the Paseo de la Presa restaurant, but the Marfil branch is just amazing. Delicious authentic Mexican food (NOT tex-mex), very attentive staff, more than fair prices and a beautiful location, filled with colorful Mexican elements. A must if you visit Guanajuato.

By far the best restaurant in this part of Mexico. You can't go wrong with any of the plates on the menu, it's all beyond delicious! The staff is very kind and helpful, the place is spectacular, and all in all this is an absolute winner!!

Absolutely adore this restaurant. The wait staff, the food and the ambiance. If you are looking to relax and enjoy a good family meal, this is the place for you. There is a children's playground area, a quaint garden, the sound of the river, and pretty views of the hills around Marfil. Also, there is a sister restaurant by La Presa de Olla that is equally as charming.

Pretty good food, very tasty and regular prices. Nice place and good service.
