About Mexicolate
Somos una empresa mexicana, que trabaja con la más alta calidad de cacao en México, queremos promover el cacao nativo, el cual cuenta con propiedades y un sabor y aroma único, cabe mencionar que nuestro cacao es trabajado por manos indígenas que cosechan sus campos cacaoteros de manera orgánica, ellos se encargan del proceso de fermentación y secar al sol, después nos mandan el cacao y nosotros tostamos y pelamos a mano la semilla de cacao, esto para conservar la semilla entera y que recordemos como es el chocolate antes de ser procesado, creemos que al hacer el trabajo artesanal y con las manos va impresa nuestra energía y nuestro amor en cada uno de nuestros productos, además de generar empleo en la comunidad donde vivimos San Francisco, Nayarit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for healthy, pure chocolates and other cacao products, made with the highest quality, natural ingredients, this is your place. If you're expecting things like chocolate fudge and Hershey bars, you're going to be disappointed.
We tried several chocolates, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate honey and cacao water, and all were delicious. The cacao water was surprisingly refreshing. I didn't know what to expect, but it was great. The service is top-notch as well.
The entrance is easy to miss, so look for it across the street from Entreamigos. Enjoy!

The staff is super friendly and spoke English (not a requirement for me as we are in a Spanish speaking country.) Had the cold chocolate with ice. I like the non sugar recipe. Check it out and be open minded. Going back to the roots and skipping all the sugar junk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a treat! We sampled chocolates, drank a smoothie, and sipped a Love Shot. Our daughter enjoyed the chocolate ice cream. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We are always happy to eat delicious and regional foods and support local businesses when traveling. Thank you for the lovely experience! And we purchased cocoa to bring home so the experience will last and last. Real chocolate lovers shouldn't miss this store!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The picture isn't going to do these chocolates justice but if you have a craving for real cacao this is your place but if you're looking for sugary sweet indulgence you're best off with a chocolate bar from oxxo.
They are a beautiful dark chocolate of various flavors meant to me savoured slowly.
I'm looking forward to going back to sample some of their other treats but I'm so pleased I stopped to grab something quickly at the recommendation of our foodie-of-a-driver.
The prices were excellent for what you get, which is a quality cacao presented beautifully with a huge variety of flavors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favorite cacao mousse on the planet. Hands down! The cacao smoothie with frozen bananas is ana amazing treat on a hot day. Artisanal, vegan, gluten free and high quality. The service sometimes is snobby and stand offish but when the mousse is this good I just ignore it and go straight to heaven and die happy with my mousse.
