I did 4 tours with Mexitours, and three of them were great, and one was a complete waste of time! The tour in question was a day trip to Colonial Coyoacan and Xochimilco. First off, the driver arrived 45 minutes late, and by the time we got to Xochimilco, it was raining but no one's fault. We were told that we would spend an hour on the canals, and we did at best, a half hour. We left from there and we stopped in front of the Olympic Stadium. We couldn't take pictures as we were hidden behind a bunch of trees, and it was starting to get dark. We then were able to see the University Library, and told we could take pictures from a distance. We couldn't even do that as it was starting to get dark, and the pictures didn't turn out. We then drove to Coyoacan, and it was nighttime by the time we got there. We stopped in front of the Casa Frida, which is blue, and were told if we wanted, we could take pictures. It was pitch black out!!! We were then taken to a church where we could go inside for 15 minutes, then drove around Coyacan and were told to look at the magnificent buildings. You could not see a thing. I paid 84$ for this tour, and took a grand total of about 10 pictures. They said that they would report this but, do you think that they would offer me a credit considering what a disappointment it was. Mexitours, shame on you. Serge Blouin.

I got a tour thru Expedia for the day of the death, and received an email from Mexitours that they didn't have space for me and my family in the tour, so I contacted Expedia and they try contacting them without success, I got return my money, but it was upsetting that they didn't try to accommodate us in the tour. Won't recommend this tour company.

All in all a good experience, about 10-15 minutes late but nothing serious. Good and knowledgeable explanations of the sites we visited. Bus with toilet and easy to get to the meeting point.

We bought 2 tickets for half day Mexico City Highlight tours with "English speaking guide".There was onlyone guide who was speaking in Spanish only all day long. Did not seem interested in translating in English.Boring and looked like he had no knowledge about anything. Donot book it if you are not a Spanish speaker. Basically just took us to city center which is not hard to find and a free museum. Mexico city is beautiful, but dont waste your money here.

It‘s a tourist trap!!! I booked a tour to Valle de Bravo for the day of the death and it went terrible! First, we drove around Mexico City picking people up for over an hour. We finally started our trip, which took over 3 hours. Once we got there, we were rushed to a boat full of people. By then it was 4 pm and we hadn‘t eaten anything. On the boqt they sold food (what a coincidence!), but the options were very limited and it was overpriced. The guide didn’t even know what we the tour included and asked people for the itenerary. They took us to see some waterfalls and wouldn‘t even let us off the bus. The town was packed, so we spent a lot of time stucked in traffic. The guide then told us that the parade (which was the main attraction of the tour) had been cancelled because of the rain. Later we found out that it was a lie and we just missed it. We then walked around for a while, but there‘s not much to see. The guide kept insisting that we go back to the city, because he had some tour the next morning. Finally, we got on the bus and drove back to the city. Summary: pay money to spend your day sitting on a bus!

I had a tour to Pueblo and Cholula. Eduardo was the guide and driver. He was excellent. He kept complete order to the group and spoke excellent English. He was very informed and made for an educational tour. I think we all enjoyed him. We could not have had a better group. There were 17 of us and we all interacted so nicely. It was so much fun. Some wonderful people from Columbia, a young guy from Germany, some Italians from Canada, and a bunch of us from the states. I wish I would have found a way to keep in touch with some of them. We went to the temple and church in Cholula and a few places in Pueblo. Lunch was provided and it was at a lovely place and very good. It took me by surprise how good it was. I Didn't expect such a great lunch. It was at Hotel Colonial. We even had 25 minutes to shop in the market in Pueblo. Would recommend.
