★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a great mezcal añejo. They are a friendly family who will offer you whatever you wish to try. We were visiting the tule tree and randomly decided to pop in and see what was going on. The logo on the store front caught our eye, but the Mezcal añejo was a real winner. They sell a few other brands of mezcal here too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have nice quality artesenal Mezcal. They don't over produce and you can't find it anywhere which keeps the quality. Friendly staff who let you try anything and very interactive and dont pressure you into buying anything. I think Don Balta Shop was better than the mezcal tour I went on before. Even the shot glasses look cool. I recommend y'all try the Mezcal silvestre which is actually smoother tasting despite the name.
