★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best authentic experience. Must try for all tourists. Best guacamole, excellent food with fresh ingredients and run by the kindest family that can speak English very well. Good artisanal tequila as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is really nice and the food is authentic Mexican food. My family and I ordered ant eggs as an entree, then we tasted another local delicacy: "Molcajete". I highly recommend that combination. Oh and for dessert we got corn Ice cream in the shape of a corn cob. The customer service at this place is excellent. I will definetely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried their Sopa de tortilla (Tortilla soup), Ensaladas de nopales(Cactus salad) & Filete de pescado veracruz (Veracruz fish). No we did not try the Escamoles...?. Too adventurous. You have to complete with the Margaritas but of course!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They offer a couple vegetarian options for lunch. I had the quesadillas with huitlacoche and flor de calabaza, arroz, guacamole, salsa roja, and jugo de naranja to drink. It was my first time eating huitlacoche, and it was delicious, as was the entire meal! The manager was friendly, and the food reasonably priced. Highly recommended if you are touring the archeological site
