Mi Amor - 77780 Tulum

I dined at the Mi Amor restaurant this past weekend while on vacation in Tulum and I was extremely impressed with my overall experience. First off, the entire staff was great, from the hostess to the waiter to the bar manager. Bernardo, the bar manager was exceptional! He made sure we were well taken care of and made us feel very welcomed and I can’t give him enough credits for being such a great manager. He gave us some great recommendations and answered any questions we had and was a joy to talk to. The food was absolutely delicious!!! We ordered several appetizers including grilled oysters, octopus tostadas, ceviche, and short rib croquettes. For entrees, we had the chicken/pork skewers, pasta, and tacos. Everything was perfect! If you’re looking for a nice place for a great sit down dinner, make sure to check this place out! Thank you Bernardo and staff for a great experience at Mi Amor!

What a fantastic luxury boutique hotel! The setting is stunning- right on the beach and so close to the Tulum Ruins (a 15-20 min bike ride) and close to town where most bars and restaurants are (15-20 min car ride). The hotel itself is picturesque and intimate- just how my husband and I like. We stayed in a room overlooking the ocean , designed in true Tulum style. However, what really made our stay and time truly amazing was the staff and team at Mi Amor and Mi Amor restaurant. The concierge team- Efrain, Miriam, Seima, and Denisse were fantastic!- so attentive, hospitable and accommodating. They took care of everything for us! And truly made our trip. The team at the restaurant were also so hospitable and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was delicious as well. We highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're looking for more of an intimate luxurious stay! Tips- The hotel has bike rentals for a very small fee, highly recommend! Also, guests of Mi Amor gain hotel/beach access to Le Zebra Hotel, their sister property where you can enjoy beach day beds and beach access in town.

Dined at Mi Amor and it was an incredible experience. Each course was delicious, and the setting overlooking the waves was magnificent. Many thanks to Bernardo (hopefully getting that right), who I believe is the hospitality manager at the restaurant, for checking in often. The service was just as lovely as the meal. Didn't stay in the hotel, but very chic lobby and pool area. Would certainly stay there.

We love this boutique hotel! Very friendly staff, check in is on time, and the welcome drink cocktail is delicious. Their infinity pool is beautiful, not big but rarely anyone go to pool. Room is spacious with big balcony and ocean view. We definitely will stay again here. Public beach is about 10mins walk from premise.

My best friend and I went to Mi Amor for their Sunday brunch to celebrate her birthday…the food was absolutely delicious, the views spectacular but more than that, the service was excellent! Between Claudia, Ana and Alberto we were taken care of so well! The amount of care put into ensuring we had a great time was absolutely amazing…the friendly conversation, the constant service, what an excellent group of lovely humans making sure your every need is taken care of. I would highly recommend this place for amazing food & spectacular service! I’d go back 100 times if I could!

I can’t speak about the hotel facilities, but the food and experience in the restaurant was amazing. Many compliments for Ana who’s really making it worth it to eat at Mi Amor. The food quantity is a bit on the sparse side but the quality is amazing. Not too expensive either. I’d highly recommend to take the Mandarin cheesecake for dessert!

Booked this place kind of on a whim for a long weekend in Tulum, and loved every second of it. The place is small and intimate, and we had a great view of the ocean from our room, as well as a plunge pool on our porch. No TV in the room but honestly didn't need one. The pool is gorgeous and the lounge beds facing the ocean are an unreal spot to read or relax. The restaurant has great food and the bar had two-for-one happy hours every night that we were there! The service was incredible, especially Luis at the concierge desk - he set us up with an awesome excursion to see a cenote and Mayan ruins. Can't wait to come back!

Where should I begin? Mi Amor hotel is an amazing experience. I highly recommend it for anyone who is visiting Tulum. This experience was so romantic from the moment we stepped in the hotel. The friendly faces that greeted us were a great start to an incredible vacation. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was delicious and fresh. The staff were charming and courteous. Being the ones to get the last room at the hotel, we were concerned that it would impact the experience. However, every room has its charm. The vibe here is extremely relaxing and chill. This is what we were looking for. The view is spectacular and there is always a place to sit due to its unique small boutique resort.
