★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes yes yes! Go!! It's a local market and you can buy anything and everything from socks to candy to fruits and veg to ice cream to juices fish. There is a "food court" of sorts. All the stores are sort of grouped near each other (fish stands with fish stands meat stands etc) but its fun to look shop for things you need (or might have forgotten) and eat with the locals.
I stopped by a stall serving soup and sopes and it was one of the best meals in Mexico City.
