Went here with my girls and entire family and it was wonderful. The location is amazing, the water takes quite a long time to get deep which is perfect if you have kids. The food for an all inclusive is really good, very varied so you don't get tired. Drinks were on point as well. Had such a good time that we ended up becoming members. Lots of activities for kids. The activity directors Davi and Miguel are on point, I ended up playing volleyball almost every day.

Very beautiful place. Perfect location. We came in December 2021. Check in took forever. Had some issues with our paid reservations but they claimed they hadn't received payment. We arrived on a Sat and the phone service wasn't great so I had a hard time communicating with travel agency but by Monday all was good. The pool was freezing. Ocean felt good though. Waist deep for over 100 yards out. Rooms were nice but couple things like water leaks from bottom of the shower. They stock your mini fridge and our cleaning person was awesome! There's 2 restaurants you can eat at in the evening. They were good. I didn't really care for the buffet at lunch and we never had dinner at it. We went out 3 nights. There's a taco shack on the beach and it's really good. Shrimp tacos are good!! We want to come back with our 3 year old and stay again soon! Oh and the guy who plays music at night was awesome. My hubby tipped him and we were able to get him to play several songs for us. We danced til my knees hurt. ?

Really enjoyed our time at this resort but giving it a lower score for several key reasons that you need to know. This property is aging. We had several major issues with our room. When we arrived we had to get the handle mechanism to our door replaced because it was so loose we kept getting locked out of our room. Water from AC condensation on the roof was dripping through the ceiling onto our bed. We made note at the front desk of this and they never repaired it. Last we had a running toilet so loud that every night we would turn off the water supply. We also made a note of this to the front desk and it was not repaired. As you walk around the resort you'll just see cracks and rust. It just needs major repairs. If you have stayed at the hotel zone in Cancun this property just does not measure up. The pool is fairly unusable. It's small and during the afternoons they deck it out for volleyball. They have a spa but there really is no spa. Just massage rooms. By the way the massage was excellent. The house liquor is so bad you can see people not finishing their cocktails. Even the house tequila tastes like plastic. It's critical that you ask for name brand liquor when you order. Otherwise just go with beer. Having said all this, the people of course were very kind and the location is incredibly interesting and worth the visit. Part of this resort is a timeshare so get ready for the pitch. We did not entertain it. This is certainly the place to stay on the island. Comparatively there it is five stars. However if you're used to five star hotels or upscale resorts this is only a three.

Beautiful location! Nice resort walking distance to a cute, friendly, safe town. The food was good and the service was excellent. Soft sands with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The wait staff is super awesome especially Ilse, Hans, Roberto, Manuel, and Kike. I would highly recommend this resort. We will revisit again soon!!

We came to Mia Reef on a day pass which was one of our best decisions all trip! It was $90 American and worth every single penny. We enjoyed the private beach with complimentary chairs, snorkel equipment, amazing food and all we could drink. The staff are amazing, special shout out to Israel he was so kind and attentive. Seriously if you’re debating going to Mia Reef DO ITTTTT!!!!

This place is amazing, the location is awesome. The beach water is unbelievably beautiful. The costumer service at the hotel is awesome everyone is so helpful and accommodating. The food was great, honestly at first I was a little worry about the food because the mixed reviews I read but, I have to say I was not disappointed with food, to me it was great, a lot options and always fresh. The rooms are good comfortable beds, clean and spacious, now they are not luxurious rooms, if luxury is what you looking for this is not the place. This place is all about the views, location, and awesome costumer service.

Very bad service starting from the very beginning. There is a small fee that was charged just for us staying the night even though there own sign clearly states will only be charged this fee if you DO not stay the night. Then we paid $485 US dollars for one night in a room with two Full size beds with very small pillows and mold in the bathroom. The shower was disgusting with dirt grime, hair and lime on the shower head. This is a 2 star hotel at best. The food was really bad. The drinks where of low quality alcohol. No name brand alcohol drinks. I will never stay again. And they had mounds of very bad smelling sargassum( seaweed) the beach was not nice.

We visited in mid-May for a few days and our group of 5 (2 families) enjoyed the resort very much. We would like to return again and spend more time on the island, as well as check out the nearby attractions. We felt safe walking around and had no issues. The hotel staff were all very friendly, accommodating and made you feel like the genuinely wanted to assist you. Good customer service. The food was good and it was what we were expecting from an all-inclusive. A few items tasted "off" but overall we enjoyed the food, the music, the bar and the entertainment. The property is gorgeous, the rooms all have very nice views, the beach is relaxing and the resort really just needed a couple of things in our opinions. 1- Some TLC is needed, as there are things that either need cleaning, fixing or adjusting. Our doors would not close properly on its own, we had exposed cabling hanging from our balcony roof, etc.. There were some areas where you see broken cement and it's a quick fix but it needs to be done. It's really just a lot of minor things that maintenance should address but not something that should keep you from visiting. 2- Hot water: In the days we were there, we never had hot water. It was lukewarm at best which meant we took relatively cold showers every day. It was not just our room. This was a property-wide problem that we were told happens some times because they're on the island. We found it difficult to believe they could not install some decent water heaters for those buildings. It felt as though they heated the water in one central location for the entire property and we were told that changing rooms would not resolve the issue. The hot water issue is certainly something that would prevent my spouse from wanting to return, which is a shame because the property is amazing otherwise. We had considered their time share option but if they can't provide hot running water, then we might have to consider someplace else. We hope they address this.
