Super recommended to come to this place ????????

In Oaxaca it is one of the richest breakfasts but also high cost, the atmosphere and everything is very calm and the service is first class. One disagreement is that the outside sign confuses because it announces full breakfast and it is thought that it includes bread, but in the end it is charged separately, perhaps for the type of bread, it is a small detail but from there everything is spectacular, very accurate the franco mexican mix

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “Miam” is a new French restaurant (“Cocina Franco-Mexicana”) that opened recently in Colonia Reforma, at Amapolas 820, just south of Heroica Escuela Naval Militar. The owner, Benoit, is originally from Bretagne. He has obviously poured his heart and soul into creating this dining space, which is very attractive indeed. The music is calming jazz and played at a perfect, low volume. There is a large tinted window at the rear of the dining area, so one can see the chef working to prepare each dish. The chalk menu board brought to the table offers several appetizer choices, and main dishes that change depending on what fresh and organic items are available each day; food arrives beautifully plated; the waiter is helpful with explanations, but professional. Yesterday our table ordered the Pork Secreto Iberico; the salmon with capers and asparagus; and the duck breast with portabella mushroom and a cherry and local chile sauce. We shared the two dessert choices, one of which was crepes Suzette and the other a chocolate fondant. We brought a bottle of French wine as the restaurant has not yet acquired its liquor license, and the waiter served it throughout our luncheon. When one of us asked for salt, the waiter brought 4 small bowls to the table. Each held a different type of artisanal salt from Italy, France, or Querétaro Mexico. Benoit came to speak with us at the end of our lovely, long lunch to ask us if we enjoyed our meals, if we had any questions or suggestions, and to tell us how he uses only the very best quality ingredients in planning his menus.
Currently, the restaurant is open from 8:20 AM until 5:20 PM, although people may schedule special dinner parties at night. In January (2018), the restaurant will be returning to a special prix fixe menu with price varying depending on the day’s market selections. A la carte prices reflect the quality of the food, preparation, and service, and are about the same as Café Oaxaca a block away. A final note - the bathrooms are new, shiny, and very clean. We wish Miam the success it deserves.
One can take a taxi from the Centro, or the Pino Suarez bus that has “Soriana” listed in the front window, to Heroica Escuela Naval Militar, and then walk west to Amapolas. The Chadraui nearby (to the east on Heroica Escuela Naval Militar) has an extensive wine selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been walking past this place for the past four years meaning to try it but I never got around to it until yesterday. I had the best breakfast that I have ever had in Oaxaca and that is saying a lot considering all the fine breakfast restaurants in this city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious French cuisine with a Mexican touch! If you grow tired of tlayudas, enchiladas, enfrijoladas, then this is your place! For something different, healthy and delicious! Great variety of plates, mainly for breakfast or brunch, they close at 5 pm and they do have a lunch menu. We had the hoja Santa omelette and the roast beef torta, both were served with a delicious salad. Coffee was good as well. Definitely worth the visit. Another plus is the cozy atmosphere. Service was great!
