★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hoy cambié los amortiguadores y me topé con una sorpresa... Hace unas semanas lo lleve a su sucursal de Moctezuma dónde compre las 2 llantas de enfrente y que lo alinearán, confiando en su profesionalismo me fui a comer mientras lo hacían. Al regresar me comentaron que habían tenido dificultades para lograr la alineación y por tal motivo tuvieron que poner unos tornillos "especiales".
Pues hoy cambiando los amortiguadores ví como funciona la solución que implementaron
Quitaron los 2 originales (el de arriba cada amortiguador y pusieron unas guasas que rebajaron) y pusieron unos más delgados (flecha azul) que como tenían juego lo solucionaron metiendo otro tornillo por arriba (flecha roja) supongo para que funcionara como cuña y eliminar el juego que ocasionaba el tornillo nuevo con el que habían sustituido los originales.
El único pero que le pongo al servicio es que no hayan explicado a detalle lo que se realizó. Entiendo que en el momento era la única solución posible pero debió informarse.
Today I changed the shock absorbers and I ran into a surprise... A few weeks ago I took it to their Moctezuma branch where I bought the 2 front tires and they would align it, trusting in their professionalism I went to eat while they did it. Upon returning, they told me that they had had difficulties in achieving the alignment and for this reason they had to put in some "special" screws.
Well today changing the shock absorbers I saw how the solution they implemented works
They removed the 2 original ones (the one on top of each shock absorber and put some gouges that lowered it) and put some thinner ones (blue arrow) that as they had play, they solved it by inserting another screw from above (red arrow) I suppose to work as a wedge and eliminate the play caused by the new screw with which the originals had been replaced.
The only but that I put to the service is that they have not explained in detail what was done. I understand that at the time it was the only possible solution but you should have been informed.
