★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This entire city is so quite and laid back. I enjoyed walking to this park in the cool morning air and getting a cup of locally grown coffee to sip. El Cofre del Perote was a great sight in the distance with its white snow capped peak. I enjoyed sipping on a locally made brandy in the park while smoking a locally made cigar in the cool and crisp evening. This is a great place to kick back and enjoy life. It is not too far from Xalapa or Veracruz, either so it is an inexpensive place to stay in the middle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is nice to go for a walk. Lots of small businesses inside the park kind of making crowded. But if you hungry, you can enjoy lots of variety food, like esquites, corn in cob, churros, home made potato chips, ice cream etc.
On Sundays, you can enjoy live music and entertainment for adults and children.
