La plazuela de Los Rodríguez, fue inicialmente, un campo donde los habitantes de Saltillo de aquella época acudían en carruajes a dar un paseo y convivir con los hijos o nietos, pero con el paso del tiempo, se dice, fue quedando en el abandono gracias a que la gente tenía otras novedades a la cercanía en la Plaza Manuel Acuña, que además se amalgamaba con la oferta en los artículos del Mercado Juárez y la cultural del teatro García Carrillo.
The Miguel López Ávila School is one of the most coveted buildings in the Historic Center of Saltillo, due to its elegant façade and the historical weight it has kept in classrooms for more than 99 years.
