★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy Entertainment! The teppanyaki side was clean and felt COVID safe. Our party was seated together with no others. The show was quite entertaining. Our chef did some fancy egg and utensil spinning which he said was perfected over 9 years. Nice touch with the example appetizer when they seat you. Food was yummy and portions were good. This is petty but took away half a ⭐ because the sauce options were limited. Still, I'd recommend Mikado if your staying at Marriott or JW.

This is truly a superb restaurant, food , ambience and service were top notch.
I recommend Fujiyama and the Tokyo mohito.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service. Awesome customer service. Angel was awesome with the food preparation. The violinist was exceptional. Rodrigo was on top of everything to make sure myself and wife had an excellent night. ??. Cancun is a blessing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals we had on our week vacation in Cancun was definitely at Mikado. Great staff, great service, great food. Our chef Javier did an amazing job! We all enjoyed it very much. I would highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wanted soup so jumped on the ramen — EXCEPT this is no ramen! It’s instant noodle with pork/ chicken in a bowl of hot salty water. Don’t get me wrong, the service is nice, atmosphere is great, and the hot soup does the job but if you come here hoping for anything remotely associated with a ramen you’re sadly mistaken. Order other items on the menu!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I added current pics of the menu (as of April 2022), since the pricing is quite different from some other pictures we saw. The tonkatsu ramen was delicious, broth and flavoring-wise. Noodles were ok. The chashu buns were great! They had a bit of kick to them which I liked. The okonomeyaki was also wonderful, definitely reccomend trying that if you like seafood.
