B	Bethany Moreland on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Mike’s Cochinita today. 2 gringas (flour tortilla, cochinita and cheese), two sides of beans and a horchata were 190 pesos, or about $9.50. Plenty of food and it was good. I could only eat half my gringa and took the rest to go (pictured). The staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean and cute.
B	Bill White on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Cochinita AND Fabulous Burgers and breakfast buns! Waffle fries, tater tots, con queso and milkshakes! Stop by Mike’s and you’ll see it is connected to a burger joint called BUN. They share the same kitchen. For us it was the juicy double with cheese, and when we asked about the Cochinita Pibil next door Gabriel brought my wife and I a Cochinita taco with pickled red onion to try for free. The Cochinita was so good we left with 1/2 kilo! We enjoyed burgers for lunch one day and took 1 kilo Conchinita home and the 2 of us enjoyed it for several meals. Can’t wait to return in October with my son and his girl to show them this local gem!!

The prices are so affordable, if you have a group of 2-3 get one of everything and share. We'll definitely be coming back here again. Very close to the 2 marina's nearby, Temptations, and other resorts - also easy to get to or from using the super fast bus system (R1/R2).

Ask them how it is made and your mind will be blown! The cochinita (pork) is so tender it’ll melt in your mouth. The salsa they give u is VERY spicy so be careful. You can also ask for bread if you want a break from tortillas. The staff was super friendly. We got two 1/4th portions and realized one was enough for two people.
