Mini Havana - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

BAIT AND SWITCH! These guys are running a scam .. DO NOT BUY CIGARS HERE!! First, they showed me a few Cohiba Maduros for $24 a piece. But immediately said if I purchased a whole box it would be $400, only $16 a piece. I decided on the box, which was sealed so that you could not look inside. I brought it back too my boat and sailed off to Belize. A few days later on my birthday, opened the box to find garbage 25¢ cigars that were not even Maduro wrapped. Tried to smoke one and it was so horrible that I immediately tossed it into the ocean. Note that they also tried to sell me a bottle of "special" Cuban rum for $100 .. they said that it was almost that expensive when they bought it in Cuba. I declined and found the same bottle of rum down the street at a local liquor store for$12. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THOSE GUYS SAY .. THEY SHOULD BE OUT IN PRISON!!

Given the other reviews maybe I got lucky but I bought 2 Cohiba Maduro at less than half marked price ($17 rather than $36) and a couple of boxes of mini cigars (Cohiba and Romeo y Julieta, $18 each) and they gave me a full size Romeo y Julieta cigar for free to try it as I said I’d not had one before. Not fake and at a great price. Maybe because I spoke Spanish to her the whole time? Don’t know but I’m very satisfied.

Went in around 8, was one lady and gave me exactly what I asked for no attempt to scam, no upcharge, STRAIGHT BUISNESS

Sold me $300 in fake cigars. Stay away and goto Havana Bobs

Fake!! Bought an expensive Cohiba and Monti. Both where fake. Couldn’t keep either of them lit. Both of them tasted like garbage. The bright spot was the people where nice.

Went there after leaving the beach before heading back to the ship to pick up a couple of Cubans and I was amazed at how well the cigars where maintained and they were all real Cubans none of the fake beach cigars if you been to cuzmel then you know ab the beach cigars

Like many others have commented, this store only sells fake cubans. The first picture shows the “Montecristos” we were sold for $20 each. It was our fault for not looking in the bag closely before leaving the store. The second picture is a real Montecristo Open. The labeling is totally off, the gold stamp is concave not convex as is should be, the gold band on the side is completely wrong. We took it back and they said theyre “just distributors” so it’s not their fault. They said we could exchange them for something else, which were all counterfeits as well. Please do not go here and buy your cubans elsewhere, not in Cozumel.

When in Cozumel my first stop is Mini Havana. They have an awesome Romeo Y Julieta that I like. Have been there many times. I will often get off the ship and go there for a while and go back to the ship. They are very friendly and speak English well. Price is important but equally I do business with people. I like the family that owns it are friendly and welcoming..
