★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a relatively small market they have a nice variety of inventory. It is one of the places we go if there is an item we can't find. Mahahual can be a shopping challenge for items that mostly the foreigners use like yellow mustard, butter, and baking powder. No produce or fruit though that is usually sold at another specialized market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best supplied mini supers in town, but not quite so economic as some of the others. They don’t have any vegetables and they also don’t show the prices written on the products so it’s always a bit of a surprise how much you’re going to pay. To be safe, don’t go buying imported stuff and things uncommon for Mexico (like sliced cheese or ham), otherwise you end up paying quite a lot. For vegetables you have to go elsewhere.
