En transporte desconozco cómo se podría llegar, en coche está a tan solo 5 min del centro de amealco, es recomendable no llevar coches bajitos pues el camino es de empedrados y terracería muy irregular.
Para llegar al mirador es bastante rápido y aún que parecer una caminata pesada en realidad es bastante fácil.
En menos de media hora llegas a dónde se encuentra la cruz. Algo interesante es que al parecer en semana santa, ese lugar es donde realizan el viacrucis. Recomiendo una visita en esas fechas.
Incredible views
I do not know how to get there by car, it is only 5 minutes from the center of Amealco, it is advisable not to take short cars because the road is cobbled and very irregular.
Getting to the viewpoint is quite fast and even though it may seem like a long walk, it is actually quite easy.
In less than half an hour you get to where the cross is. Something interesting is that apparently during Holy Week, that place is where they perform the Stations of the Cross. I recommend a visit on those dates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En la punta del cerro hay una cruz como de 7 metros de altura y varios lugares con unas vistas esplendidas de todo el entorno.
Cerca de la cruz hay una pequeña capilla.
El lugar es mantenido sin basura por la misma gente del lugar.
Totalmente recomendado ya que la ruta principal para subir está muy bien marcada y no es muy demandante para gente acostumbrada a caminar.
At the top of the hill there is a cross about 7 meters high and several places with splendid views of the entire environment.
Near the cross there is a small chapel.
The place is maintained without garbage by the same people of the place.
Fully recommended since the main route to climb is very well marked and is not very demanding for people used to walking.

Hay 2 caminos el difícil o el fácil!!!! Nosotros subimos por el difícil!!!! Cansado, cansado, pero la experiencia no no la quita nadie!!!! El camino fácil es siguiendo las cruces del viacrusis!!!
How nice it is to know our Mexico!!!! I observe what is in this abyss and I don't know how man can build these things, beautiful experience!!!! 1000% recommended!!!! There are 2 paths the difficult or the easy!!!! We climbed the difficult one!!!! Tired, tired, but the experience is not taken away by anyone!!!! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Subir vale mucho la pena, en verdad es un lugar es tan pacífico y relajante, el encinar es algo cerrado casi no hay claros, las tomas son espectaculares y los senderos están bien delimitados, en la cima que casi se alza a los 2900 msnm no te puedes perder de la hermosa vista.
Cómo es un encinar, en la época húmeda (de lluvias) el lugar indudablemente debe verse mil veces mejor.
Going up is very worthwhile, it really is a place that is so peaceful and relaxing, the holm oak forest is somewhat closed, there are almost no clearings, the shots are spectacular and the trails are well defined, at the top that almost rises to 2900 meters above sea level no you can miss the beautiful view.
How is an oak, in the wet season (rainy) the place must undoubtedly look a thousand times better.
