Beautiful viewpoint where you can see the entire Orizaba area, the climb is easy and the path is recognizable, you can easily meet more mountaineers, it is perfect for camping with family and friends. Please do not litter.

A very nice place. The experience was very good, and the people around are very friendly. I recommend going with family and enjoy the view of the place. Unfortunately, at the end of the route, I suffered an abuse of authority in the city of Camerino Mendoza, which is the way to go up to this beautiful place. For what made the experience with this mishap, although it was very nice, everything was terrible. I've never had anything like this happen to me in all the way I've been hiking and with this I'll postpone it for a couple of months. If you plan to go to this place, be careful with traffic agents and also with the police of this town. Today it happened to me, and it can happen to you. I will avoid as much as possible to return to this city. I would have liked to read an opinion like the one I am writing to think twice about going to this place with the experience that happens, I hope someone finds it useful to read what happens.

A light hike of just over 1 kilometer and with an approximate elevation gain of 75 meters, the Mirador El Gentil offers us a beautiful panoramic view of the Citlaltépetl (Pico de Orizaba) and Tliltépetl (Sierra Negra) volcanoes, as well as the urban corridor that comprise the municipalities of Orizaba, Río Blanco, Huiloapan, Nogales and Camerino Z. Mendoza. Excellent option to start in the world of Hiking and for nature lovers. The recommendations, which should be rules, are the same as always: Notify the corresponding authorities about your itinerary. Hire a guide if you don't know the place. Do not litter and take the garbage with you back. Do not remove flora and fauna from the area. Avoid making bonfires as much as possible and if you do, take into account the wind, humidity and vegetation conditions of the place. And finally, make the most of the wonderful views that this place offers us.

A very quiet place for people who enjoy hiking and views, for those who have doubts how to get there, take a "raitera" (trucks that go up the hill) and you have to get off at a chapel called "Maria de Guadalupe "and go up the stairs that are there and then go straight and at the first deviation take the left hand and go along the mud and dirt road, do not continue on the paved road and that's it.

This viewpoint is one of the most beautiful in the area. You can perfectly appreciate the entire Río Blanco Valley, as well as being quite surrounded by pine and oak forests. It is even a place to have a good camping and appreciate the night sky when it is clear and see the city below illuminated by those orange glows.

Excellent viewpoint, the road is not heavy and has the best views, going to see is wonderful but camping in the viewpoint is the best, hopefully and you can live the full experience camping one night, believe me that the campfire and dinner with family and friends is unforgettable ?
