★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The walk up is cute with good views. Tickets for the glass pier are cheap, but the wait line was exceptionally long for us. Definitely not worth standing in a line in the sun for an hour, but probably worth it if you happen to be here on a very slow day. Strange that they sell any number of tickets, regardless of crowds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to pay 20 pesos to get access to it after climbing the hill where the Lighthouse of mazatlan is locate. You will need to take your shoes off to go on it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally made the hike up to the top of El Faro and the Mirador De Cristal, a glass floor viewing platform at the top with amazing views of Mazatlan. Easy sloped trail goes almost 3/4 of the way up until you hit the 360 stairs to the top. Much easier than I expected although lots of people huffing and puffing on the way up. Lots of beautiful vistas of various different parts of the port including Stone Island and inner harbour, the Malecon and Golden Zone all the way to Cerritos. Cruise ship port was hosting The World which is the largest cruise ship in the world and dwarfed a typical cruise ship situated beside it. Lots of stray kitties on the path up as well as cool cacti and other vegetation and rock formations. This is a must see and the best place to get a great perspective of Mazatlan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good hike to get up the hill, but best view of Mazatlan. The glass walkway is fun but you have to have your shoes off. After your hike down there are plenty of pulmonias to take you back to town.
