★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La vista es HERMOSA, pero lamentablemente el olor a orina hace que te quieras ir rapidísimo de ahí. Está muy descuidado lleno de basura y graffiteado.
The view is BEAUTIFUL, but unfortunately the smell of urine makes you want to get out of there really fast. It is very run down full of trash and graffiti.

Nice view of the town of Mascot, I recommend making the stop when you return to Guadalajara to make access and exit easier. This viewpoint offers you a beautiful panoramic view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Lookout) This a great place to pull of the road and enjoy the incredible view of Mascota and the surrounding valley. There are so many great views from this highway, but you need to keep your eyes on the road as there is no shoulder if your wheels leave the pavement. This mirador is paved with a wall for security. Note that the road between Puerto Vallarta has lots of twists and turns and many times there are small rock slides (especially in the rainy season) so be careful. BUT that said it is worth the drive to experience the incredibly beauty. STOP here and take your magazine worthy photo of Mascota!
