★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siempre me a encantado este lugar ya 37 años visitandolo y más abajo está el pequeño lugar llamado waxtla con aguas termales.
I have always loved this place and have been visiting it for 37 years and further down is the little place called waxtla with hot springs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un lugar para estar en contacto con la naturaleza. Las vistas de la sierra quitan el aliento y hay algunas formaciones rocosas que semejan mucho las de las piedras bola en Etzatlan. El balneario es un muy buen lugar para ir con la familia. Al fondo de la barranca corre en tiempo de lluvias un río.
A place to be in contact with nature. The views of the mountains take your breath away and there are some rock formations that closely resemble those of ball stones in Etzatlan. The spa is a very good place to go with the family. At the bottom of the ravine a river runs in rainy weather.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you make it to the small town you went to far. The road runs through the beautiful county side, through canyons then finally the canyons give way exposing the sierra for miles. On one of these curves you will notice a gate but you have to look carefully as there are lots of curves and grass grows tall. There will be an opening in the gate and if you take a closer look you will see a trail that goes down. Follow it. Warning: the trail is very steep and lined with very jagged rocks. The trail however is short. Maybe 1 or 2 miles tops, at the bottom there is a waterfall that drops at least 30-50 feet maybe more, it has a pool that forms at the bottom you can swim in it, but its very cool water. Warning: it is very deep water and no life gards are present and the location is pretty isolated, if you can't swim don't go in the water. If you can make it down this waterfall is nice. I had my cousin guide me on this trip.
