★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parqué Mirador is a magnificent park with a grand entrance, once inside the first thing you come upon is a statue of Miguel Hidalgo the father of the independence of Mexico. The statue sits on top of a tiny green knoll, and behind it lies the walkway to the lookout. The walkway to the lookout itself is lined with these gorgeous green trees that give off lots of shade. Once at the lookout you will be treated with glorious views of the canyon, there you will see the awesome power of nature. Here the earth has been pushed up and a river has carved a deep canyon. Sitting at about 5000 feet the gaps between the canyons are impressive and if you keep your eyes open you might even spot an Iguana. People of all ages come to enjoy the park, it's a wonderful place to bring the family or that special someone the views are breath taking, there are restrooms and also a resturant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park with a spectacular view of the valley.. perfect place to spend a few hours.. there are concerts and other activities that happens during the weekend.. there are no restaurants around so get your own food
