lunch, Check out this natural land mark and park. Great for snorkeling. Continue on into Boca and have lunch. Diving and fishing trips are also available here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were at a resort nearby and went on a snorkeling trip to Los Arcos. Great little spot. Clear water and a lot of fish. A small archway with some current added to the adventure. I would do this daily if my kids wanted to go. So great to ride 15 minutes and snorkel in a nice place like this. Go. It's close and fun!

tour boat from Puerto Vallarta's beach
pier. There was snorkeling, but water
visibility was very limited, maybe 10-15ft.
There was green plant life on the outer ocean side of main ROCK. There were
many birds nesting. The water is very
green from/with algae. During the rainy
July - September months, the water is
Clearer. A nice comfortable boat to,
for 30 minutes, the to Las Animas beach.
A heavily visited tour stop. Not now
in May, during the week.

Love this national marine park, beautiful waters, great for snorkeling, kayaking and board paddling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Arches of Mismaloya were a highlight when we did the Hop on off Bus Tour in Puerto Vallarta. The 2 hour bus route travelled along the main coastline road. It offered views of this scenic fishing village, where you can get a boat tour to the arches. Locals plopped an iguana in my hand for photos, because the movie Night of the Iguana (Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton) was shot in that area.
