Pretty but really crowded! And you can't swim at this beach, the undercurrent is too strong.

A very nice lookout to see both Marinero and Zicatela. This is where the “ Hands sculpture “ is. It’s also a great spot for watching the sunset

If you find yourself with company (family or girlfriend -it's just perfect. Usually very clean -for, this part of the beginning of Zicatela beach is been inspected by a particular official office -that gives it every year... a "certification of clean beach". Perfect for mornings strolls, bird and fishing watching, yoga making. The evenings are a blast! Particularly because it's not so hot anymore -and you can admire an awesome sunset...specially in December. All year-round, it is pretty -however. On top, right at the mirador "Summer Romance" is nuts! Because there are no resting areas where you can sit, breath and relax. (The cement got hot during the day -to sit late in the afternoon on it). So I recommend to look at anything worthy of watching and return to the beach down bellow to sit on the sand, write a poem, paint, meditate... He he he

Went out there to take pictures from the viewing area. It was a pretty nice location and the view overlooks the hand statues. Walk dow the beach and you run into bars and restaurants on the beach. Not handicapp friendly

This is a lightly trafficked trail along the coast that ends in a lookout point. There are many beautiful spots to take pictures or just enjoy the view. The trail is unmaintained so decent footwear is recommended. And just prepare to climb over Rick's here or there. Alternately, you can just turn around when the trail gets less passable. Highly recommend early morning or evening to catch the sun rising or falling.

Nice observation point at the beginning/end of Zicatela beach. It is worth mentioning that a lot of the photos and reviews are not for this location, but rather the trail beginning at the opposite side of Playa Principal - which is amazing and absolutely worth doing, but not this spot.
