We have been watching and waiting for this cozy appearing bar/tapas venue to open. We happened by the first night they were doing a party for their friends and supporters and Miriam shared that my wife and I were their first 'really' customers as they just opened. We enjoyed genuine premium professionally made cocktails and shared made then fresh guacamole that popped in our mouth with fresh ingredients. We may have been enjoying ourselves too much as Miriam graciously stayed open late as so we could enjoy another round of great drinks. The price is a bit more than some places, but it more than offset by the quality of all served. When you are ready for a break from the zillions of people on the Malecón, head away from the water on Calle Pipila and BEFORE you arrive to PiPi's, Miriam's will be on the left...do step in and enjoy!

Best cocktails in PV. And the food is exactly what’s been missing in the modern tapas/casual category. Everything is meticulously crafted - the ceviche was easily the best we’ve ever had. Here you get the quality and care that you find in PV’s fine dining restaurants, but in a casual comfortable little space downtown.

This place is unreal. We had Mahi-Mahi (Dorado fish) ceviche that was fresh caught and filleted in front front of us. The best ceviche of my life by far. I ordered a ginger margarita and it blew my mind. Hands down best sweet cocktail I've had in my life and undisputed best Marg. Come here for an experience that you'll never forget.

Super cozy bar away from the craziness found in other parts of town. Still a great place to party, but a bit more low key. Amazing tapas (small plate) style food, especially the ceviche is out of this world! If you are starving and want a big steak, this may not be the place for you, but if you enjoy a light dinner it's perfect! I haven't even gotten started on the cocktails! Made from real, natural, ingredients all their flavors are 100% well crafted. I love ginger, and Mexican Mule (their take on the Moscow Mule) is one of my favs. It's also well worth a visit only for their Margaritas which are amazing! All-in-all I highly recommend this place and am already going back again and again.

The margaritas here are the best I’ve had in PV. So good in fact that we decided to come here 2 nights in a row. Lovely cozy bar with super friendly and welcoming bartender (Andreas) and owner (Miriam)! I recommend the jamaica margarita ????

This is a must visit if all three of taste, presentation, and how ingredients were sourced enhance your dining experience. Alice and Miriam were engaging, warm, and friendly during my visit. Not only do you immediately get a sense of their skill and knowledge as chefs, but also their passion for the fresh, local ingredients being served. The location, decor, and size make you feel like you've arrived at an intimate speakeasy in contrast to most other restaurants you'll pass along the Malecon.

Amazing cerviche and wednesday night curry was wonderful. Cocktails are delicious with fresh ingredients. Take home a jar of chile crack! Highly recommend outside of the tourist zone. A nice neighbourhood bar.

From top to bottom Miriam’s Culinary Experience was one of my most memorable experiences in Puerto Vallarta. I was looking for a travel experience a little more unique than the standard tourist stuff — and Miriam delivered! The class got a crash course in the types of Mexican peppers used in cooking, and then we learned how to make sweet corn tamales, chili oil macha sauce, and salsa. The hands-on approach with the mortar and pestle was completely new to me and so cool! It may sound like a lot of work, but Miriam’s team did most of the heavy lifting with the prep and cleanup of ALL the meal’s courses, so we got to enjoy every aspect. For dinner, we were served snapper with mole blanco sauce, chile beef stew, bunuelos (like a sugar cookie) and Mexican hot chocolate. Yes, it really was as good as it sounds. The homemade margaritas and curated wine menu were icing on the cake! You will come away from this experience with your hunger satisfied — and you will have an added appreciation for and elevated understanding of authentic Mexican cuisine. Plus, Miriam sends you home with recipes to recreate the experience at home with loved ones! Miriam’s passion, knowledge, and talent for cooking really shines. Her energetic spirit brings the entire small group together. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta. Thanks Miriam for an amazing night!!
