★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una de las cinco misiones franciscanas del siglo XVIII en la Sierra Gorda queretana. Un lugar muy tranquilo, su atrio es pequeño con tres arcos de entrada y cubierto por césped y una cruz metálica en el centro. Lo más llamativo es su fachada muy elaborada con detalles indígenas y religiosos en cantera,de las más bellas del Estado de Querétaro. Recomendable.
 One of the five Franciscan missions of the 18th century in the Sierra Gorda queretana. A very quiet place, its atrium is small with three entrance arches and covered by grass and a metal cross in the center. The most striking thing is its very elaborate façade with indigenous and religious details in quarry, one of the most beautiful in the State of Querétaro. Recommendable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Misión Landa in Landa de Matamoros, Queretaro: The five Franciscan missions of the Sierra Gorda were founded between 1751 and 1766 during the last phase of the conversion to Christianity of the interior of Mexico. The facades of these churches are important because of the “Mestizo Baroque” style, which shows significant indigenous influence by the Pame Indians who built them.
