★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You will find a better exchange rate here than what you will be offered in your hotel and the walk is not too far from several hotels. It sounded like (due to us still learning Spanish) we had to wait approximately 4 or so minutes before the teller was allowed to transact so if you see a line, just know that you may need to wait a few minutes before the teller can assist you.
We exchanged a few USD $ bills for pesos without issue on several different occasions and the tellers were always pleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ridiculously high commission rate for US dollar exchange - 7.5%. Would recommend exchanging any currency in your home country. Most places around here are a tourist trap. The only plus is they are in a convenient location accessible in case of urgency. English speaking teller not available at all times.
