★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Who knew the best bakery would be hidden in La punta! I came across this place by eating at a local cafe-I was shocked by how good the bread was and they told me that it was from Monte Alpan! Been going and it’s insanely good, even beats the sourdough from San Francisco which is where I’m from. My Norwegian friend was so happy they had cardamom buns and they are amazing too-they have cinnamon and chocolate as well. Come on the earlier side bc this place sells out! Owners are so sweet and cool too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monte Alpan is MUST!!!!!! They have the most delicious bread I have ever tried, owners are awesome people and they put the customer in the first place!!! If you are visiting Puerto, you have to try this bakery. On top of that, they have amazing sweet buns. The quality of the food is number 1 and the taste is unforgettable. THANK YOU Monte AlPan, I will be back tomorrow again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I came here at least once a week while living in Puerto to get my fresh bread and it made my day every time! Come early before 12 to get it while it’s fresh :) the best!

Don't miss the lil Gem in La Punta.
