★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel muy bello pero mal servicio, no había agua caliente, y lo peor me salió un cabello en la comida en el restaurante y no hicieron absolutamente NADA!! ?
Very beautiful hotel but bad service, there was no hot water, and the worst thing was that I got a hair in the food at the restaurant and they did absolutely NOTHING!! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I played a round of golf at Montebello on December 29, alone. The initial experience was frustrating because it was not obvious how to pay green fees and rent a golf cart (in the restaurant). After that, you have to find the caddie house, which is hidden inside of the garage under the restaurant. The golf course itself was not in good shape at all - it is way over-watered. Fairways were soaked in many places, with some standing water and mud. There were many cart paths covered in very muddy water, and after successfully driving through most of it without trouble, at the 15th hole I accidentally ran into 2 feet of standing water and had to abandon my cart. Other than that, about half of the course runs through undeveloped land that is sparsely landscaped, with lots of loose dirt and mud. Overall it was not at all worth the $75 green fee + $25 cart fee. I did not see a single other golfer the 4 hours I was there, and now I understand why. The course at Campestre la Rosita is much better, if you can find someone to host you there.
