★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is absolutely delicious... had the rib eye gorditas and the tacos montenegro. The guacamole was awesome, too. The staff was very courteous and attentive...all in all it was a great, memorable dining experience... Highly recommend this restaurant!

The waiter Enrique was welcoming us. He is a teacher as well and we could communicate in English and German - great!
We loved the tacos and desert with a fantastic cappuccino very much. It was a pleasant stay altogether. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Montenegro Tacos and Drinks has been my favorite restaurant in Merida. Here is why….
- Atmosphere - the restaurant is brand new. The furniture is very stylish and there are great nooks to sit in. They even have a table with swings. At night they give you sparklers and have a DJ on the weekend.
- The food. Montenegro has a fresh take on Mexican that is a twist from traditional Yuka food. They specialize in beef and aguachilies. All of their food is very flavorful
- The Staff and Owner - truly care for you and provide a ton of attention. Our waiter Abi did a fantastic job. If you are an English only speaker, request Luis G.
