★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty small airport so it's really easy to find your way through. Also security is like the early 90s so it's a breeze to get through security checks. Although I do wish they would accept digital boarding passes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This airport is very easy to navigate. It is very clean and well maintained. They have many taxi services on site. They have a few coffee, food, and snack stores/souvenirs.
I have flown in and out of MTY many times internationally and It's one of my favorite airports.
They also have people that are bilingual if you need it and they have many more information, just ask where the information desk and they are more than happy to accommodate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are no chairs if you have a layover so you sleep on the concrete floor. But it's nice and clean. The border officials are very accommodating and accepted cash only to allow extra carry on electronics. Sadly they weren't able to provide recipes for the payments in US cash only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful a TSA worker tried to steal my smart watch here! I put my things in the bin including my watch and when I got the bin back my watch was gone I asked where was my watch and this other worker went to go and look and the lady that scans the bins had it. They gave it back but still what if someone doesn't notice it's missing they have probably stolen other things from people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is for Terminal C arrival, departure and transportation to and into the city. Terminal is only used by Viva Aerobus. The check-in process is very fast, so are the security lanes. The waiting area is pretty basic with 2 or 3 stores and 3 fast food and coffee joints. Seating is not very comfortable at all. Let me go over the transportation side of this terminal, please always use the public transportation to go into the city-it is way cheaper. There are 2 options: Vivabus with Autobuses del Noreste for 115 pesos and the newly open Y Griega purple bus for 15 pesos. Both bus stops are just outside on the outer lane at the very end. The first one takes you straight to Terminal Fierro and Central de Autobuses. The Y griega bus has 22 stops and takes you to YGriega metro station. Going into the Terminal C from the city you can also use Uber or Didi besides the other 2 options above.

There are good souvenir stores, not so expensive and a good variety of Tequila and Mezcal as well
