De acuerdo con la historia, tras la batalla de Churubusco, 68 desertores del ejército norteamericano que apoyaron a México durante la guerra fueron condenados a la horca por traición. De esos 68, 18 fueron perdonados, 34 ahorcados en Mixcoac y 16 más fueron colgados de los árboles de la Plaza de San Jacinto en San Angel; todas las tumbas desaparecieron y la única que existe se encuentra precisamente aquí, donde descansan 7 de los 16 ahorcados en San Angel.
It is located within the Parroquia de la Purísima Concepción on Tlacopac street, Álvaro Obregón demarcation. According to history, after the Battle of Churubusco, 68 deserters from the US Army who supported Mexico during the war were sentenced to hang for treason. Of those 68, 18 were pardoned, 34 hanged in Mixcoac and 16 more were hung from the trees of the Plaza de San Jacinto in San Angel; all the tombs disappeared and the only one that exists is precisely here, where 7 of the 16 hanged in San Angel rest.
