★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La estatua dedicada a José María Morelos y Pavón tiene una larga historia. Quizá para mucha gente pasa desapercibida en su actual ubicación...digo actual pero ya son muchos pero muchos años. Esta escultura fue encargada por el fallido emperador Maximiliano de Habsburgo. Originalmente ubicó en la plaza Guardiola a un lado de lo que hoy es la Torre Latinoamericana.
Aunque recientemente se le hizo un jardincito y unos arreglos en los pavimentos, la gente del lugar no respetan y a 10 metros de distancia hay un basurero restandole la importancia y respeto a nuestro héroe Nacional.

 The statue dedicated to José María Morelos y Pavón has a long history. Maybe for many people goes unnoticed in its current location ... I say current but they are many but many years. This sculpture was commissioned by the failed Emperor Maximilian of Hapsburg. Originally located in the Guardiola square next to what is now the Latin American Tower.
Although recently it was made a small garden and some pavement arrangements, the local people do not respect and 10 meters away there is a garbage dump depriving him of importance and respect for our National hero.
