The monument is impressive but the square is already abandoned, everything is being destroyed, a lot of garbage and chamisales

I just passed over the highway, I didn't stop, but there are palapas to sit and tables to eat something that the public brings. I think it was touristy, but there is no one in sight.

It is an impressive monument, when climbing to the base of the dancer, it returns you to the diminutiveness of your own humanity. The place is a bit abandoned and the lights affect the visibility (nothing that can't be fixed with photoshop).

imposing sculpture, it's a shame that to be more spectacular than Christ the Redeemer it is in a desolate place (middle of the road) in addition to being neglected, even so if you happen to pass by where it is located it is well worth getting off the vehicle to take a photography in the "largest statue in Latin America"

I passed through here on May 20th and May 29th, 2021, with my wife, sister in law and our families. The park has a lot of potential, but it is in need of repairs and up keeping. The statue is very impressive, but dirty. There are fools that blockade the road, with cars, blocking down to only one lane, with a rope pulled across. They demand money. They are nothing but road pirates. I don't understand how this is allowed? Where are the cops to put an end to this madness. It is actions like this that keep foreigners from visiting and spending there money to boost the local economies. When tourists don't feel safe, they stop visiting. When they stop visiting, the local shops and restaurants suffer and close because they cannot make a profit. When the stores and restaurant close, the employees lose their jobs. It is a very big impact, especially to very small towns.

Very beautiful and powerful statue of a Yaqui Indian. Complete detail. It is my favorite pose I’ve seen of all Yaqui statues. It is massive right off of highway 15. The park it is at is incomplete, it looks like it has the potential to be a really amazing rest stop. Everytime I pass it there are cars stopped on the side of the road and people taking photos.
